Reducing Exercise-Induced Asthma Symptoms by Ingesting Fish Oil
| A new study conducted at Indiana University found that fish oil reduces asthma symptoms brought on by exercise. The study found that 80 percent of people who have asthma have more symptoms after exercising. Lung function after exercise improved in 64 percent of the patients studied after they supplemented their diet three times a week with fish oil. Additionally, 31 percent of the patients needed to use their inhalers less after supplementing their diet with fish oil. |
